Self-care goes beyond diet and exercise. It is about nurturing the soul. Getting a change of scenery is a lovely example.
After months of workouts and dietary sacrifices, the big payoff comes when you can see how much it's working for yourself for the first time. You go down a size or two and you realize that all that hard work has been so worth it.
Reflecting on how far you've come after all of the hard work you have invested in yourself is very rewarding.
When you work 6 days a week indoors, getting outside on your only day off is mandatory.
Life is good.
